Fox Cabinets did a fantastic job creating cabinets for our kitchen and associated island and buffet area. While the kitchen cabinets were stained, our island cabinets were painted. Everything turned out the way we envisioned.
The quality and construction of the cabinets far exceeds anything that can be ordered at a cabinet showroom. Fox Cabinets is truly a custom shop which allows the homeowner to specify various sizes, stains, and drawer/cabinet configurations. They also made cherry crown molding to match the existing crown molding.
Customer satisfaction is their highest priority - they really do want to make everything right. On our particular project, there was a problem with their supplier's wood which resulted in Dan having to make all new drawer boxes. When the boxes were ready, Dan actually flew out to California to install them because he wanted to ensure that everything was done properly. No other company would have gone to such lengths.
Being in California, we did not have any geographical issues with Fox Cabinets being in Indiana. Plans are delivered in PDF format and online meetings are held to discuss elevations and details. Fox Cabinets also has no issues talking and working with the local general contractor - in fact, our contractor participated in the online meetings. Plus, Dan is always available via phone and email.
We remodeled the entire lower level of our house including laundry room, powder room, children's cubbies, desk area and kitchen. A remodel job can test your patience and often requires dealing with a GC, subcontractor, interior decorator and others just to get through the process. We can honestly say that the cabinet work was hassle free and painless. Not only were we thrilled with the quality craftsmanship of Fox Cabinets, Dan and his installation crew was always courteous and respectful. In addition to perfecting his chosen profession - custom cabinet making - Dan is an all around good guy. We highly recommend Fox Cabinets to anyone considering a remodel or new construction.
